We're Beginning Again!
The River Beneath was a band comprised of individuals all who are involved
in the life of Benjamin Cloyd. Most notably was Katherine Wilson, Benjamin's
former wife. With her signature soprano, Alto and tenor recorders and her
impeccable harmony she was "instrumental" (excuse the pun) in creating
the sound that The River Beneath grew into.
Now with a change of line-up
the music of The River Beneath is coming back!
Over the years other contributors have included Mark Powers and Mitch Nehring
on percussion, (Sly) Joe Slyzelia and Jesse Gildenvand on guitar, Abe Burson,
Nate Lehner and Mark Pribbernow on Bass and Andy Mertens on Cello.
In addition there have been a myriad of artists involved in the recording of our music.
First and foremost is Scott Kneis. This guy is the best! He is a great friend and
fantastic musician and produced the album, A New Breath, along with Benjamin.
He also played several guitar, bass and percussion parts on A New Breath as well.
Here is a list of contributors to the River Beneath's album A New Breath:
David Baumgartner, Ed Bialach, Hilde Bialach, Abe Burson, Doug Cloyd, Lillian Cloyd,
Colleen Davick, Marin Gaffron, Brian Grover, Dave Harmon, Jennifer Ingerson,
Scott Knies, Tony Krough, Nate Lehner, Andy Mertens, Borre S. Moinichen,
Roy Montroy, Mark Powers, Trevor Wiitala, Matthew Wilson.
